Alicia Blais
Upon graduating with a ceramic arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I was taken up by Martha Stewart Living Magazine's craft department, where I learned the business of making every detail, project, and photo simply beautiful. I immersed myself in helping craft smart and sophisticated scenes and vignettes for a tightly branded organization with high standards.
To this day, what I learned at Martha Stewart is what I bring to every project: experience, vision, exacting standards, and visual savvy. Over the past years I have been able to hone my craft and bring a modern, sophisticated angle to all that I do. Most recently, companies like Target, Crate&Barrel and Garnet Hill have given me the opportunity to work with extremely talented teams of people who allow my vision to shine from concept to final execution. What I loved about styling at the start is what I still love today: the challenge of telling a story through pictures that marries the creative vision of dynamic teams of innovative people.
